Here is my niece amy getting splashed by a 20 year old pulser pump.

The pump itself has no moving parts and is powered by the water power
of the tiny stream beside her.
It combines a trompe to compress the air and an airlift pump to pump
the water. And the only things that move is the air and the water.
The water is usually collected in a chamber at the top and is piped to
sheep and cattle in another field (but you cannot see the splashing
then!)
A pulser pump powered by a greater head (this one is powered by just a
half meter head) might be a lot more efficient but I have never made
one.
These pumps might be very useful in areas where technical help is not
readily available.
Put pulser pump into your search engine for more information.
