Few people ride snowmobiles while it's snowing. Usually, they're for
fun in nice weather, when there's snow on the ground. Except in the far
north, where there are few roads, snowmobiles are not used as utility
transport vehicles. In most places, riding them on roads is illegal.
I have a sunroof in my car, which I open when the weather is nice. But
the weather is not always nice. When it's raining, snowing, bitterly
cold, or whatever, the roof stay firmly closed, and I am happy to have
it. I wouldn't like to have to use a roofless vehicle in those
conditions. Nor, I am sure, would most other people.
