That stupid gouging bill from congress is just to make it look like
they are doing something. It means nothing. The record profits show
that the oil companies have been gouging for some time now. If there
is or could be a shortage then they should institute rationing. If
there was a food shortage they would ration it not raise the price
till you couldn't afford to eat. But of course they wouldn't make
those record profits if it were rationed.

Funny how just before the elections last November it went down, after
they said earlier in the year get used to the high prices they're here
to stay. Hah. They just keep seeing how much they can get away with.
Nothing has change since November. Nobody is joyriding any more than
then. Just doing what they always do. Go to work, shop. etc. If it's
enough of a crisis to justify raising the price 50% in 6 months then
by God print up those ration books. That worked in WWII,and we had odd/
even in the 70's. And aren't we at war now? If so then act like it.
What a farce.

Oh and keep all those immigrants coming in, they won't use up anymore
of that precious hard to find black gold, will they?
