| I am looking to control some electro magnetic locks, I would like to be able
to monitor them to see if they are locked or not.
I was not sure if X10 is the best way to do this, what other (cheep) ways
can this be done?

| Securitron magnetic locks have an option available called "Senstat" that is
integral to the lock and monitors the lock state (the plate is seated and
the lock is powered).
