| Is there any information about using a battery to AC inverter to power a
GFA furnace ??
I have googled for inverters and found modified and pure sine wave devices.
My furnace has 3/4 hp blower motor with an electronic igniter.
Is this a good or bad idea ??
Thanks

The Vol. 27 No. 12 December 2006 issue of Nuts and Volts magazine has
an article titled "Furnace Backup" on page 42. The magazines web site
is http://www.nutsvolts.com/. That issue may still be on the shelf at
your local bookseller, so it might be worth calling to find out.
Hope this helps.

Darn! I called around and seem to have missed this issue. Al the copies
have been sent back. Is there any chance anyone out there can scan and
email a copy of this article?
Thanks.
