HELP! Fragrance oil is destroying my leather couch!

| You know those fragrance oil vases that have the sticks coming out of
them? Well sometime overnight a few nights ago, one of those vases
'mysteriously' spilt and didn't get cleaned up (soaked in the
furniture all night).
Not only did the spilt oil take the a good chunk of finish off my end
table, but some it dripped onto the side of my leather sofa. I first
started to rub the couch with a wet rag and noticed that the black
leather was actually "melting off". I haven't touched it since b/c any
time I do more black comes off. BUT I would like to clean it before
any more damage is done.
Any ideas?

| The only thing I've ever used on good leather is Mink Oil.
