Paver saw - MK or Imer?
|

| I'm looking at a Paver saw and cant decide between the Imer Masonry
250E/TD10 and the MK-1080. This would be for home use. I have several Paver
Projects and would rather but the unit then to keep sinking money into a
rental. I've rented the MK1080 and its a decent unit. Though when I spoke
with the a Sales Rep they suggested the Imer as its a better unit. I've not
heard of them. Its cheaper then the MK-1080 and the Imer comes with a
Stand.
Any Recommendations?
Thanks,
Scott<-

| I have a MK 101 pro, which I use for pavers as well as tile. It is a great
machine no complaints, except it is heavy, so I hate moving it around alone.
One of my helpers said it "cuts like butter". The track is smooth and the
1-1/2 hp motor is plenty strong to cut any type of stone.
I have never used an Imer saw, but from looking at the pictures, I don't
like the tray, how do you clean the tray with out picking up the machine. I
usually clean my tray at the end of each day. On large jobs I leave the saw
on site. So all I have to do is remove the tray, clean it, slip it back in
and I am ready for the next day.
my 2 cents
