Hello, group! We just (proudly) finished our first tiling project
which turned out great: a tumbled marble backsplash. We used 2X2
tiles and sanded grout. However, we notice that we preferred the look
immediately after we grouted, before it dried and became less
noticeable. Does anyone have recommendations for sealers/enhancers we
can apply? A satin finish would be okay. We've already sealed it
(before grouting so as to keep the grout from sticking) although it is
still quite dry-feeling (not grainy, just dry). We bought Home
Depot's Tile Enhancer but our sample did not really "enhance" that
much (and the fumes would make using it prohibitive in our 110 degree
heat right now outside...no open windows possible). So, I would
appreciate any suggestions and I thank those of you who took the time
to read this.
Sincerely,
Nancy M.
