Counterflashing Cement

Replacing flashing on chimney. For the top of the counterflashing where
it is bent 90 degrees and put in brick joints 1" deep, I'm hearing stuff
in caulk tubes can be used.
The guy at Big Orange said Sakrete Concrete & Mortar Repair

can be used. Didn't sound very convincing. Especially since I've always
seen him in the electrical dept.
Anyone give the thumbs up or other info?

I like Sikaflex-15 LM. It's a one part polyurethane, non-sag, could
expansion/contraction properties and comes in a limestone color which
works pretty well with most mortar colors. Figure 3-4 bucks per 10 oz
cartridge.
