I'm looking for a pair of steel toe boots that BREATH. Maybe something
with cordura sides, no Gore-tex. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Why not Gore-tex?

GI jungle boots work well (with insoles), but no steel toe. The wiremen
in my company were issued steel-toed safety boots, but were all
leather. I know that Rocky Boots uses Cordura for a lot of their
boots, maybe give them a look.

It doesn't seem to breath quite as much as I'd like, and waterproofing
isn't an issue since I've got other boots for wet conditions. I'm
primarily looking for sunny day footwear in the summertime.

I have a pair of LL Bean Gore-tex cordura boots that are incredible.
In winter my feet don't get wet from sweat, which is what makes your
feet get cold, and in summer my feet don't get wet from sweat. So I
know they breath better than any other footwear I've ever owned.
They're not specifically work boots, and they're not steel toed like
you need, but I wouldn't rule out Goretex offhand.

Are the steel toes a job requirement or your preference?
