Former, former, former, former, and former... oh, and a BYU prof who BYU is
pretty much saying "don't listen to him." In other words, people who are
not current government insiders.
Lets see... head of SDI... so, not an expert on buildings.
Physicist and engineer, may have some knowledge, but they are hardly
"govenrment insiders."
A "high-level" Reagan appointee, oh so he obvioulsy has credentials to know
about how buildings fall down.
Oooh, we've got an economist, and if anyone knows about building integrity,
it'll be an economist!
All this, compared to the entire architecture, civil engineering, and
building construction departments at Va. Tech who say it's a load of
rubbish. Damn... who to believe, who to believe...

Unless they actually start thinking, then your case falls apart.

Not one of them a former _engineer_ of ANY sort.

And a bunch with ZERO expertise on engineering or demolition.

Did you ever heard of a bird colonel being the head of a major program like
SDI?

Reminds one of he Global Warming petition a few years ago signed by some 75
(??) "scientists".
Well, only one came from any branch having to do with even meteorology, much
less climatology. One signor was a landscape architect.
OTOH, http://sepp.org/leipzig.html
http://sepp.org/heidelberg_appeal.html
Climatologists, not political hacks grubbing for more R&D funds.
and on and on...

Being appointed o high-level positions. What position? Doesn't say. But,
hey, maybe the assistant secretary of treasury has special insight on how
buildings fall down.

Actually, being a member of the green party and protesting for the
legalization of pot. Oh, and getting tossed out of office on the very next
election by the same guy he defeated to get elected in the first place.

Well, he -did- say government insiders, not "knowledgable government
insiders."

What, being voted as one of the "fifty sexiest people on capitol hill"
doesn't count?

I figured I'd let that slide. I can't confirm that he wasn't (ok, I was too
lazy to confirm that). I figured he got the Lt. Gen's coffee or something.
But why not give benefit of the doubt. Not as if it changes anything.

Va. Tech? What are the political affiliations of that institution? Any
government connections, contracts, financing, etc??

Attack their credentials all you will, but THEY WERE RIGHT, as we are
finding out now when it may well be too late.

Ad-hominem attack is the refuge of unintelligent and immature people that
can't refute an opinion with logic or facts, so they resort to childishly
attacking the person that holds the opinion.
Pathetic.

| Dude, you couldn't convince someone that's it's daytime while they're
getting sunburned.
Maybe you should try to reconnect to some semblence of reality in your life
and maybe do something useful.
And please skip the ad hominim attack comment. We've seen it about 300
times.

I really don't care what you do or do not believe. You have the right to
deny the sky is blue, if that makes you happy.

My life is just fine. How is yours?

No one is forcing you to read my posts if you don't wish to.
