Question: With this new construction it will be the first time I deal
with LVL's. For a garage door header I am using a triple LVL -- how do
I attach each individual LVL to the next LVL --do I bolt all three
together? Or do I simply nail one to the next LVL and then to the next
LVL (before or after toenailing to the king studs on either side)?
Thanks in advance for your answers -- coopercat2

The manufacturer's literature will give instructions on how to connect the
3 LVL's together.
