Premier Homes Builders in Sunset Pointe {Beware}

| I just cancelled on a build with a company called Premier Home
Builders in Janaury. They are based in Little Elm, Texas. Their sales
person is a con man named James Bourg. I have done a little research
and it turns out that they have extremely high cancels. It seems that
once they get your deposit they make very little effort to build your
home. I have heard of people waiting it out since 2005 with no luck
getting their home built. I just wished I had researched them before I
bought. Now I am ripped off of my deposit.
Other than hiring a lawyer, which the contract I foolishly signed says
I can't do, what can I do? I have called everybody in Premier and you
go straight to voice mail. They never return calls. James Bourg does
not care because I am sure he makes a cut off of the deposits he
collects and never returns. How can I, the victim, get back at them
and keep them form doing it to some one else?
Thanks for the rant!

| Seems to me that someone needs to take this guy off somewhere and beat
the shit out of him.
If a guy rips me off like that, I'll make it so uncomfortable, that
instead of you having to check out his background, he'll be checking
your background out to make sure it's safe before trying to rip you
off.

No contract can restrict you from hiring a lawyer, which, I am sure,
others have already done.
Whether a lawyer can recover your money, or just add to the overall
loss, is another question.

That is an unenforceable provision. Get a lawyer.

Once you get lawyers involved in something, you've already lost...
