I have a garage about 25 ft long with 2x4 beams spaced about 1.5 ft
running along the length of the garage. It's getting a bit colder
outside and I am wondering if I can safely hang a 25lb punching bag
near one end, say about 6 ft from one end. My main concern is the
momentum caused by the swinging motion, than the dead weight itself.
