New Roof Costs? S London

The roof on my semi detached house needs replacing. Standard job with
concrete tiles. Internal timbers all in good condition. Croydon Area.
Ive had a few quotes, but they are higher than expected (the lowest
being 7K).
Am I being unrealistic think I might get the job done for less? I was
expecting to pay around 4-5K.

Advise and recommendations appreciated.
