| Hi All,
I'm in the planning stages for building a house. I want a basement with
pored slab and concrete block walls, but I live in Florida and I'm told
that radon gas is a problem.
Is there some additive or technique for the concrete slab that would block
radon? Is there some treatment or coating that would keep radon from
penetrating the walls?
Any info would be really appreciated......

| The Building Science Corporation web site has a detail for venting
radon.
