can anyone tell me the aprox cost per panel to install the 4 x 8 sheets of
hardie cement siding? just the labor not the material?

$1-$100 - It depends upon a lot of factors such as:
Labor hourly rate
Time frame needed done (is it one cheap guy spending the next 2 years
putting it up or a crew of efficient guys doing it in a couple of days)
Size of project
Conditions such as height off ground (i.e. how much scaffolding is needed)
Intricacies of project (i.e. how much cutting is involved and are there lots
of corners, openings, and/or angles)
What about corner boards and various trim pieces? Who's handling those?
Does this price include sealing/caulking?
Does it include painting costs?

These are just a couple of things off the top of my head. If you want a
smaller price range you need to have some local people bid your project once
they know all of the parameters.
