Hi, I recently had a friend install linoleum in my home. Actually, I
had him stop in the hallway.
It was not put together very well and there is a lot of gaps in
between. I went to Home Depot and bought color fill. However, I'm
having trouble doing it. The color doesn't look bad, Its the putting
it on that is a hassle. I'm using a putty knife but to wipe the
excess, if I do it while it's wet it also comes out of the gap. and if
I wait until it's dry, it's very hard to take off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

just do small sections at a time, ones that you can control
the wet/dry condition
