Man was made to till the ground.
Genesis 2:5 5 And every plant of the field before it was in the
earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had
not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till
the ground.
Man and woman first occupation was gardening. The woman was to assest
the man in his gardening efforts.
Genesis 2:20 20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of
the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not
found an help meet for him.
If a man's wife is out sweating from work in the Garden and he is
inside doing nothing he should be ashamed.
Genesis 3:17-19 17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened
unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I
commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground
for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou
shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt
thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast
thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

This is a UK gardening Ng.
Nothing to do with religion, different pastime/hobby.
There are Ng's for various religions, please use them.
