Its a very vigorous, rambling cactus rather like a Disocactus
(Epiphyllum) on steroids ... and some. In warmer parts of the Med and
in the Canaries, you can see its very stout, quadrangular jointed
stems clambering up hotel walls etc while the flowers creamy gold and
white flowers are huge - easily dinner plate sized. It needs frost
protection, plenty of room and a rich, well-drained soil to really do
well. Definitely not an outdoor cactus unfortunately.
