Hi i would like to know how many seasons will a plant bare fruit in a
container. When and how should I deal with the new plan off shoots?

The main problem with strawberries in a container is Vine weevil, sooner or
later you will get them if you don't take precautions, putting a sticky
grease band around the contain should stop them. You need to replace
strawberries in containers the same as you do in the ground, they eventually
become old and unproductive. Happily making new strawberry plants is easy
just plant the runners :~)
