| Some of you may remember that I asked about what a basal cluster was a
couple of months ago because the booklet I'd been given when I bought the
apples did not define it.
Well, in accordance with the booklet I pruned the plants at the appropriate
time.
Oh dear, even though the IW is not a tropic isle, one of the minarettes has
decided it's spring and has a number of bunches of blossom on it!
Please can someone advise on my next course of action?

Relax. Do nothing. Chill out :-)
Plenty of spring-flowering plants manage a few odd flowers in Autumn
(which won't become fruit or significantly affect next year's
flowering) .
