I have several pelargoniums. Usually I take them inside for the
winter..I would like to leave them outside against an eastern,
sheltered wall..Would I be able to do this if I covered them with
fleece? (I live in kent)

Your suggested treatment would protect them through a mild frost, but it
would not do so if the frost was severe enough to freeze the soil. I
would pot them up so that they can be taken to a frost free area
(Garage) should the weather become severe. You may only need to do that
a few times during the type of winters which we are currently
experiencing.

If you mean east facing - which is what is usually meant by 'an
east/west/north/south/ bed' they will get little warmth, plenty of frost and
are as much likely to die from wet as cold.
