Planting out times

| We seem to be getting the seasons apparently a bit earlier now, and just
today, it was commented that April was the warmest for 350 years. This
being so, has anyone any comments about the bringing forward the "planting
out" times that we see on various seeds packets at all? I'm tempted, just
so that I can start some more off, as at the moment, I'm full to
overflowing and need more space before the next batch could be started. I
only have an unheated greenhouse and window shelves inside.

It's not totally accurate (weather forecasting more than a few days
ahead isn't that accurate anyway) but it's the best attempt at answering
the question 'shall I move this plant out of the greenhouse now or shall
I leave it till next weekend?'

| It is a very difficult decision that you are trying to make as most
years we get Siberian winds in May which destroys or severely damages
plants which have been put outside too early. So it is best to
harden-off plants by putting them out in the day and then putting them
back inside on cold nights or even in the daytime if the wind is chilly.
Regards,
Emrys Davies.
