A weed is any plant growing where it's not wanted, so I am trying to
work out what an un wanted weed is.
The plant in question is an elderberry bush, looks nice and healthy.
Looks as if you will be able to make Elder flower wine or cordial soon
from its flowers.

As David has said it is an elderberry and it makes splendid cordial :-)
