I live in the Auvergne in the Massif Central halfway up a
mountain!!!!! Max temps can be med temperatures and winter have been
known to be 15 below and more on higher ground. Usually about 5 to 10
below is the norm for Jan and Feb. Frosts usually until first week of
May

Our children live in England but I go back once a month, every month
for a week and sometimes I go twice a month to see them. A new
flights starts from Clermont Ferrand, north of us in April so that
will make communication much easier.
There is some lovely property for sale in this area Keith, give it a
go, the French people are lovely.
