First dig - second year!

Hi all
I'm now commencing my second year on the allotment - and although it
looks a tad rough right now, I've managed to clear two beds yeaterday
and today - during a snowstorm/blazing sun and cloud. Hopefully it
will get better - trouble is I feel like I've forgotten everything I
taught myself last year - except for one golden rule - don't PLANT as
much!
I'm off to Lancashire for the weekend - any recommendations for garden
centres?
Feeling quite enthusiastic again
