Pioneer sa 6500 2 low amp output

tape output works just fine

turntable gives very little output as does cd into aux

any ideas

One of the tape monitors is turned on.
The pre to amp jumpers are missing.

Don't remember if that model has the pre-out/main-in loop.
If so, did you plug in jumpers?
