-Because of the low crime.
-Bulgaria has joint NATO in 2004.
-Bulgaria will be accessed to European Union in 2007.
-Because of the good climate condition - more than 300 sunny days
through the year, wonderful nature - three mountains ranges cross the
country (Stara Planina - The Balkans, The Pirin and the Rhodopi
Mountain), oportunities for skiing in winter, Black See borders the
country to the south, 354 km. (218 miles) coast line, a lot of rivers
and water basins.
-The country is politically stable.
-In 1999 the Bulgarian currency, the Lev, was tied to the German Mark,
resp. to the Euro. This helped to stabilize the Bulgarian currency and
to improved the economic conditions in the country.
-Very low prices of food and services.
-Bulgaria is in the middle of Europe, that meens, it is close to each
country. Distance 3 hours or less from England, Netherlands and
Germany. Many companies have direct flights to the destinations
indicated above.
-Offers a lot of variants for development of your new business.

You forget the fact that the "stable government" is hording the money
from the people. Only hight tourist areas around the seas get developed
while buildings in other major areas like Vidin get half built than
abandoned due to lack of money. Some of these villages, yes villages,
look like something from old country and having a VCR is the highest
form of technology in that particular area.
On a side note, yes it is a beautiful and natural country. Just beware
of the Gypsies :-)
