I'm currently staying in Fort Lauderdale for a week and I'm
considering buying a condo for use in the winter. There are a lot of
condos available. I've looked in the Riverhouse and the Las Olas Grand
downtown and a few others by the beach. I like it downtown but I'm
concerned about the Riverhouse's developer filing for bankrupcy and a
new hotel they may be building. Also a resident told me that the Las
Olas Grand has an all-gay board thats out of control spending money.
I'm hetero and I don't want to live in a gay building (nothing
personal!). My agent has all of his listings by the beach and doesn't
seem to want to show me any listing that isn't his. What other
buildings downtown are available?
