(AP) ... Sales of new homes plunged in November by the largest amount in
nearly 12 years, the most dramatic evidence to date that the booming
housing market is starting to cool. The Commerce Department reported
Friday (12-23-05) that sales of new single family homes fell 11.3
percent last month.
In addition to the big plunge in sales, the median price of a new
home dropped by 4.1 percent from the October level, to $225,200.

Is this just he START of a steeper decline? Maybe the doomsayers
predicting a crash in real estate prices are right. Will the bubble
burst, or just continue to lose some air? Me

This AP story is legitimate. It is likely that many newspapers printed
it on 12-24. Perhaps you can find in the Associated Press or newspaper
archives. Renard

Hello, to get better exposure, I recommend listing this on
www.westlist.com - they just redid the real estate community and it's a good
time to list free. You can list as anonymous but I recommend making an
account it's free.
