This is sheer nonsense. Ken is one of the most respected dealers who makes
his presence known on rec.audio.opinion. His accuser, however, is a known
con artist:

OFFICIAL RAM BLUEBOOK VALUATION" is actually Brian L. McCarty, a pest on
rec.audio.marketplace, where he accuses innocent sellers of various
misdeeds. He appears to be a pathological liar, with unknown motivations.

McCarty is the owner of websites http://www.coralseastudios.com, and
http://www.worldjazz.com, both of which have used fraudulent advertising in
attempts to attract investors. Both have been unsuccessful.

McCarty is an American expatriate, originally from the Chicago area, then LA
where he worked as a sound mixer,
currently living in Cairns Australia, where he manages the Baskin-Robbins
ice cream franchise located at
Shop G6, 59 The Esplanade

McCarty lives in the Coral Sands apartment complex at 65 Vasey Esplanade,
Trinity beach, a bit north of metropolitan Cairns.

I'm one of those who also checks Ken's page at least once a week. I
measure it against my needs, desires, or even memories, and I've bought
from him a number of times.

To date, I've never had an issue. There's never been anything but a
good surprise. He's communicative, and he's diligent about getting the
product out. And his product descriptions are nothing if not accurate.
Warts and all. If anything, they're a bit conservative. And his prices
are not out of line.

Now, I realize that his products are not for everyone. Hell, even I
buy new from time to time...but this ongoing attempt to pillory the man
is irresponsible in the extreme. So, he's not Paul Heath...who cares?
For that matter, Paul Heath isn't a certified public hero, either.

So, give it a rest. The man is making a living doing what he wants
to do, and he's got a loyal customer base helping him do it, and he's
managed to remain a decent guy.

Yeah, let's just go ahead and execute him now.
