This auction is for an extremely rare Luxman U-1000 preamp/remote
system controller. It allows you to hook up audio components of
virtually any type and give them remote capabilities. It also has
variable audio outputs and volume controls on the remote.

Many of the new wide screen TV's don't come with variable audio outs,
so it's hard to connect powered speakers. This provides an ideal
solution for situations like that. It also has dubbing capability
integrated into the remote. A very handy little component!
