I need some help!!! I have oder coming from a 1st floor toilet. The floor is
a cement slab. The odor is at it's worst as it gets colder. The 2 nd floor
toilet has no smell. I have Installed new vents 2'' pvc. I am on a septec
system which has been cleaned. I have installed a new wax ring and all is
secured, but I still have the smell. Need some advise!!!! Thanks

First of all, it's "odor" and not "oder," it's "septic" and not
"septec," it's "worse" and not "worst," and it's "advice" and not
"advise." For crying out loud, where did you go to school?

There are several possibilities, but it sounds like you have a cracked
pipe or open connection somewhere on the line that leads to the
downstairs toilet. The fact that it's more pronounced in the cold
weather might be just because you've got your windows closed. First of
all, does it smell like sewer gas or just urine?

If it smells like urine, tell the guys to be more careful. If it smells
like a septic tank, then some detective work must be done. You might
need a plumber (or someone with a little experience) to lend you a hand.
