handle. It IS about what NNTP servers handle or reject, and there IS

If your server CHANGES the data, it's not doing its job properly.
LINKS should come thru UNALTERED.
If YOURS corrupts the data, get another.
If your NEWSREADER can't display the data as you would like,
get another

You don't know much about Usenet, boy.
NNTP servers have been around for decades, and have always had
limitations.
You wouldn't know what a proper job is or you would have done some
research before you opened your trap.
