Position Manufacturing Executive
Reports To (Person) Assistant Manager - Manufacturing
Location Position is transferable across India
Key Result Areas
(Set of most critical responsibility areas)
=B7 Achievement of ITC's product quality standards and hygiene
standards at Contract Manufacturing Unit (CMU) operations
=B7 Managing the manufacturing process to achieve desired volumes at
optimum waste level and operations costs
Experience
For Food Tech background: 1-5 years experience in the category
For Engineering Background: 1-5 years experience in the category
Technical Knowledge
(Technical knowledge the person must have)
=B7 Production process flow and nuances of the process
=B7 Product quality norms and the impact of process variability on
product quality
=B7 Skills (Technical abilities the person must have) Strong numerical
and analytical skills
=B7 Application of concepts like productivity, utilization, workflows,
line balancing etc
=B7 Application of basic engineering principles in understanding new
processes / technology
Managerial Skills
=B7 Communicating precisely and clearly ITC's norms to the CMU team
=B7 Ensuring implementation of ITC's standards through:
- training,
- technical trouble-shooting and problem solving through appropriate
quality tools.
=B7 Leadership by example specifically in the areas of:
- integrity of communication
- consistency of message
- fairness and objectivity in dealing with situations
=B7 High result orientation - getting things done on time and as per
agreed upon norms.
Educational Qualification
B.E. / BTech. in Mechanical /Electrical /Chemical Engineering/ Food
Technology
Age Range 22-30
Growth Potential :
(Career growth options for the individual in your company)
Manage the ITC's CMU operations in a region, or
Manage a category-wide initiative centrally (e.g.. product quality
related audit and control systems).
Additional Comments :
The position requires the individual to come in shifts and the
individual may be transferred anywhere in India.
