I need to find a safe way of checking the earth continuity of various
pipe lines carrying flammable solvents. Has anybody had some experience
of doing this and could possibly help with :-

a). Equipment used
b). Method used to check

Any help, comments welcome

Thanks
Terry

This is, presumably, to reduce static buildup and subsequent sparks and

explosions? I've never worked in the chemical industry, but the medical
device industry has specialized testers for verifying effectiveness of
anti-static
measures in operating rooms. This is because of the sometimes flammable
and explosive gases used in anesthesia.
These were basically just very sensitive ohmmeters with very long test
leads and specialized test tips for the various surfaces.
