Generally the spa stuff should be fine for workbench GFI protection.
And with the competitive market for spa stuff, it should be lower in
cost as well.

That 6895-I "high current" (goes up to 80 amps) protector is intended to
drive a contactor to open the circuit. It can thus be used on 2-wire or
3-wire 240 volt, or 3-wire or 4-wire three phase. Maybe with a low price
contactor you can beat the price of the GFI breakers. But don't forget
tat you have to pay for 240 volt overcurrent protection, too, which if
replaced with a GFI breaker, could save money there, too.
