What are the existing options to represent power systems as a file? Can
anyone point me any link?

Go poke around www.ieee.org. Some of their technical work groups working
on power systems analysis have addressed this issue.

Oh, someone that understands what the OP meant! What *did* he mean by
representing a power system as a file? Did he mean an encapsulation
of the parameters to use as part of a simulation or something, or
is there another sort of file I'm not aware of outside "computer file"
or "nail file"?
