Author CSA price gouging?

What is going on with CSA right now? They seem to be seem to be
trying to nickle a dime you to death this year.

First they increase the factory inspection requirements from 2
inspections per year to 4 inspections per year at $500 per
inspections, then they add a $200 "surveillance surcharge". this on
top of their normal licensing fees.

I am seriously thinking of using a different NRTL for Canada. Does
anyone have any recommendations?

Try talking to TUV Rheinland of North America, they still only do two per
year.

I am not sure this will make any difference as Global are only acting as an
agent for CSA or UL, so they will only pass on the charges set by CSA or UL

Have you called TUEV, to see whether they can do it and what they would
